One Sea, Three Continents: Sharing Common Goals

The Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) “the unlimited med,” the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation – together with the support of over 55 International and Regional associated partners in all its editions – are pleased to invite you to celebrate the 12th Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders, from November 21st to November 23rd at Casa Llotja de Mar, in Barcelona.

Over the course of three days (November 21st, 22nd and 23rd), MedaWeek Barcelona will host a number of key thematic and sectoral fora. In the past editions, the event counted with more than 35 thematic fora, 600 working sessions, 1,710 prominent speakers, enjoyed over 18,200 attendees from all over the world and counted with coverage from more than 75 Media outlets. These included entrepreneurs and representatives of the private sector, business support organizations such as Chambers of Commerce and promotion agencies, political authorities, and international coverage from a number of local and foreign media agencies. Altogether, the MedaWeek Barcelona saw participation from over 42 countries across the globe and this year’s edition is no exception.

The 12th edition of the Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders (MedaWeek Barcelona) as in its previous editions, will bring many trending topics on the table and serve as the flagship Mediterranean entrepreneurial-economic platform for the entire world. This year’s edition aims to cover three main objectives and the central axis is about innovation and digitalization. Firstly, the importance for key players from the three continents that are part of the Mediterranean region – and their neighboring countries– to understand and embrace their common goals and explore how to develop them into synergies. Secondly, to consolidate MedaWeek Barcelona as the regional entrepreneurial-economic hub thus becoming the flagship platform for exchange, dialogue and integration par excellence. Thirdly, provide a gateway for stakeholders to network, do business and exchange points of view for the region’s business growth.
