We are ASSOCIACIÓ TECH BARCELONA, a private non-profit association, open to all the local and international technological ecosystem based in Barcelona; an initiative promoted by entrepreneurs from this city that works with the following: other entrepreneurs, start-ups, consolidated companies, investors, incubators, accelerators and Company builders, universities, business schools, the media, public authorities and other stakeholders (hereinafter, known collectively as either “TECH BARCELONA”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
We consider the privacy of people important, both of the visitors to our website https://www.techbarcelona.com (hereinafter, the “website”) and of any other affected persons who provide us with information through it, whose data are processed by TECH BARCELONA as part of the provision of services (hereinafter, “you” or the “user” and in a plural way, “you” or the “users“). In this sense, TECH BARCELONA undertakes to process your data in accordance with the applicable personal data protection regulations in force at all times. Specifically, TECH BARCELONA will comply with the premises established in current legislation and, specifically, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data and by which Directive 95/46 / CE (RGPD) is repealed, in Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD) and in Law 34/2002, of July 11, on services of the information society and electronic commerce (LSSICE), in relation to the maintenance of the confidentiality and treatment of personal data provided voluntarily by users of this website.

TECH BARCELONA informs you that, as a result of contracting the hosting and maintenance service of the server where the business management program (ZOHO) is hosted by TECH BARCELONA, your data may be transferred to the service provider located outside the Space Economical ZOHO CORPORATION (“Zoho US”) located at 4141 Hacienda Drive, Pleasanton, California 94588, USA and can be accessed on a need basis for support functions provided by ZOHO CORPORATION PVT. LTD (“Zoho India”) located at Estancia IT Park, Parcel No. 140 and 151, GST Road, Vallancherry Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kanchipuram District 603 202, India. In this sense, we inform you that TECH BARCELONA has signed with “Zoho Group” (Zoho US and Zoho India) the standard contractual clauses adopted by the Commission, therefore offering adequate guarantees regarding international data transfers as a result of hiring this provider. .
In the event that other international transfers of your data are made, you will be previously informed. In this case, the international transfer will be made to recipients in countries that have a level of protection adequate to that of the European Union. In the event that some of these recipients are in third countries with which there is no adequacy decision of the European Commission, nor do they offer adequate guarantees that endorse an adequate level of protection, TECH BARCELONA will guarantee the protection of your data by signing the the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

- How do we protect your personal data?
TECH BARCELONA maintains the data protection security levels required by Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, which approves the Regulations for the development of the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data and other related regulations that are applicable and in force at all times, and it has established all the technical means at its disposal to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of the data provided by the user through the website.
