Terahertz radiation can pass through objects, clothing and packages, identify what materials and substances are inside and, unlike for example X-rays, is completely harmless. Its potential in industries such as security (airports, maritime transport, etc.), food, pharmaceuticals or even aeronautics (for example, to perform checks on the condition of the wings of an aircraft, without needing to dismantle them) is immense.

These new technologies are still an incipient market with great potential, which is why at secpho we have decided to create this webinar aiming to deeper into the different applications of these technologies and to show how photonics can help to develop the sector in Spain. These topics will be developed through expert presentations, which are pending to be determined.

This free webinar is addressed to:
-Technicians and Innovation Directors from companies in fields such as Telecommunications, Defense and Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals, Agro-alimentary, etc.
-Researchers from R&D centres and companies that are experts in photonic and quantum technologies.

Technical requirements to attend the webinar
We will use the Cisco Webex platform that is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux. You can use browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari. You can also attend the webinar through mobile devices using the free Webex apps for iOS and Android.
