The calls are now open to participate in G-Accelerator Impact Call 2026 and Impuls AgriTech 2026, two pre-acceleration programs aimed at entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovative projects looking to develop impact-driven solutions from Catalonia.

The G-Accelerator Impact Call 2026 is a six-month program —running from June to December— designed for seed and pre-seed startups or projects that aim to create socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable businesses. It offers 226 hours of practical hands-on training, 240 hours of project-specific mentoring with business experts, and access to local and international networking, with a focus on areas such as the circular economy, sustainable cities, health and well-being, education, and responsible consumption.

Meanwhile, Impuls AgriTech 2026 is aimed at researchers, research teams, and entrepreneurs who want to turn research outcomes into market-ready AgriTech and AgriFood innovations. Also running from June to December, the program includes 116 hours of training, specialized mentoring with sector experts, and opportunities to connect with the AgriTech ecosystem. Its goal is to promote technology transfer and entrepreneurship in sustainable agriculture, biotechnology, AI applied to agriculture, and energy and waste management.

The IESE Business School will host the Private Equity and Venture Capital Conference 2026 on April 16 and 17, 2026, in Barcelona, Spain.

This premier gathering will bring together leading investors, fund managers, LPs, VCs, and entrepreneurs to exchange perspectives on key industry trends, from shifts in the global economy to emerging market opportunities.

Dream Big Barcelona is an event organized by imagin on April 17 at CaixaForum Barcelona, as part of the 6th edition of the imaginPlanet Challenge.

The imaginPlanet Challenge is an educational competition aimed at university students and higher vocational training students, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship with a focus on sustainability and the SDGs. The challenge consists of transforming a real environmental problem into an idea with a positive impact, and the winning team will receive incubation of their project in Silicon Valley in July 2026.

Dream Big is an intensive 3-hour experience with hands-on and competitive activities, allowing participants to take part in the Challenge. The winning team of the event will advance directly to the semifinal of this edition of the imaginPlanet Challenge.

A new CONNECTIO opportunity is now open for innovative startups and SMEs.

On April 16, a new CONNECTIO Pitch focused on the Blue Economy will take place, organized in collaboration with the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, within the framework of the II Nautical Summit.

The open call aims to identify startups and SMEs with innovative solutions applicable to the blue economy sector, particularly in areas such as:

• alternative energies

• eco-friendly materials

• artificial intelligence

• sensors and robotics applied to the nautical sector

Among all the applications received, 6 companies will be selected. These companies will receive support to prepare their participation and will have the opportunity to present their solutions to member companies of the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic and other key stakeholders in the nautical sector.

Interested companies can submit their applications until March 15.
