Innovators worldwide are invited to apply for the 2026 QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge — now in its eighth year supporting solutions that strengthen resilient and sustainable communities.

Many participants come in focused on their existing markets and leave having unlocked a new one: the public sector. This program is designed to open that door — whether or not cities are already on your roadmap.

Selected startups will have the opportunity to compete for a share of a $175,000 non-dilutive prize pool, while gaining access to pilot opportunities, six months of mentorship from global experts, and connections to cities and partners across the Leading Cities network.

Participants also take part in a weekly, certified virtual curriculum designed to help entrepreneurs navigate city governments, identify funding pathways, and build successful public-sector partnerships — led by city leaders, industry practitioners, and founders who have done it themselves.

The program is fully virtual and open to innovators worldwide. Applications close April 30, 2026.

If you’re a startup founder raising capital, an investor, or part of the startup ecosystem — this is one of the most important (and misunderstood) questions. Join Denis Kalyshkin, a US VC with 12+ years of experience, for an in-depth offline session in Barcelona on April 8. He will unpack how venture capital really works behind the scenes.

What he’ll cover:
• How VCs evaluate startups and make investment decisions
• What investors actually look for (beyond the pitch deck)
• The frameworks and signals that drive “yes” vs. “no”
• An introduction to non-dilutive grant funding as an alternative capital source

About the speaker:
Denis Kalyshkin is the founder of Ask VC, an all-in-one ecosystem for startup founders, and a US VC with 12+ years of experience investing in vertical solutions and deep tech. Denis holds a master’s degree in aerospace engineering.

Closing deals is exciting. Chasing invoices… not so much.

Every week, founders and sales teams close deals in HubSpot and then spend hours copying data into manual invoices, sending payment reminders by email, and checking spreadsheets to see what’s been paid and what hasn’t.

If your CRM and your bank don’t talk to each other, you’re leaving time (and money) on the table.

What you’ll get from the session:

✅ A clear map of the deal-to-cash flow: from Closed-Won in HubSpot to money received in Qonto

✅ How to generate invoices in 1 click from your deals, without copying a single data point

✅ How to track payment status (paid, pending, overdue) directly in HubSpot

✅ How to reduce the time between closing and getting paid, and improve your cash flow from day one

✅ What VeriFactu is and how to prepare for mandatory e-invoicing in Spain without extra effort

🎯 100% practical session with a live demo. You’ll leave with a system ready to implement—not just slides.

AI-Driven Cybersecurity: The Big Picture por Gerardo Prieto (CISO & Seguridad IA/ML)
A.I. in the SOC: Optimizing Controls & Response por Rui Correia (Manager, Operaciones e Ingeniería de Ciberseguridad, Signode)

También habrá tiempo para una dinámica sesión de preguntas y respuestas (Q&A) y, por supuesto, networking con comida 🍕 y bebidas 🍻.
