Aigües de Barcelona and Tech Barcelona join forces to strengthen innovation in water management

- The collaboration agreement connects the company with the city’s technological and digital ecosystem, fostering synergies with startups and other relevant entities
Barcelona, April 9 2025. – Aigües de Barcelona has joined Tech Barcelona as a Corporate Partner, with the aim of boosting innovation and improving the management of the water cycle through new synergies with the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The collaboration agreement connects the company with the more than 1,400 members and 110 partners that are part of Tech Barcelona, the private non-profit association that articulates the technological and digital ecosystem of the city.
With this alliance, Aigües de Barcelona reinforces its commitment to innovation through collaboration with Tech Barcelona. For Joana Tobella, director of innovation at Aigües de Barcelona, this strategic alliance represents “a great step forward for the company, as it allows us to connect with the city’s technological ecosystem, promoting synergies with startups and other key players, with the aim of developing innovative solutions linked to the management of the water cycle in the metropolitan area of Barcelona.”
In this sense, Tobella adds, “our membership in Tech Barcelona is another step forward in our commitment to innovation as a driver of change to meet the challenges of the future and contribute to the development of more sustainable cities”.
