A digital social innovation experiences cycle open to the public
Por partner
Digital Social Innovation (DSI) plays a part in numerous initiatives and projects being implemented in Barcelona. Incorporating the DSI perspective into work processes means using digital technology to take on social challenges and thereby ensure that the technological revolution has a positive impact on the city and all its residents.
The DSIPLAY cycle is aimed at introducing the most outstanding social innovation projects, as well as their social impact, returns and feasibility, and at disseminating that culture among other communities and citizens.
It is also intended to promote synergies between urban stakeholders and citizens, generating mutual learning in areas such as technological entrepreneurship, participation, the maker world, the collaborative and circular economy and the use of data.
Exchange and learning
A programme of experiences made up of routes, open interviews, workshops and debates will be used by DSIPLAY to give a voice to professionals working with digital social innovation (people from the world of entrepreneurship, engineering, creativity, the third sector, investments and so on) so they can share with the public and institutions how their tools and projects can help to improve and solve urban challenges of global social interest.
DSIPLAY is a cycle launched by Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa in collaboration with all the companies and bodies represented below.
