Stringtheory is a fretted instrument (guitar, bass guitar, ukelele, banjo) performance and accessory company. Our mission is to revolutionize the sound and functionality of stringed instruments through patented innovations, cutting-edge design, and advanced materials and technology.
We focus on resonance, tuning and tuning stability, the fundamental aspects of any instrument. Our patented solutions address a critical design flaw in guitars and bass guitars that causes them to play out of tune. By enabling individual adjustments at both the bridge and the nut, our products ensure perfect intonation across all strings and positions.
Our practical, easy-to-install designs replace existing nuts without modifying the instrument. This precision-engineered approach brings the accuracy of watchmaking to the world of guitars, allowing players to make precise intonation adjustments at the nut, resulting in consistently accurate tuning regardless of string choice or pitch.

Mr. Becket Colón is the founder and CEO of Stringtheory, and the inventor Stringtheory innovations. He holds multiple patents in various fields and is responsible for the company's product development and vision. A lifelong guitar player, Mr. Colón has extensive experience in product design, robotics, manufacturing and thermoplastic materials.
With over 30 years of experience as a manufacturer, international distributor, and retailer of youth lifestyle hard and soft goods in the skateboard/snowboard lifestyle industry, Mr. Colón brings relevant expertise to the guitar industry. He is also skilled in CAD/CAM design, production engineering, polymer technology, product design, and CNC machine programming and operation. He studied business at the University of Stockholm.
Marcus Berneström – Co-Founder and President
Mr. Berneström has over 20 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur in finance, hospitality, medtech, edtech, and web3. With a degree in management from Stockholm University, he specializes in international management, business development, and marketing communications. Passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems, Marcus will co-direct operations and administration, ensuring the company’s strategic growth.
