About the organizer: SIA – Startup Investor Accelerator.
Startup Investor Accelerator is a program for both startups and investors. For startups, it is an investment competition, where early-stage scalable startups receive an investment of 100-200K.
For investors, SIA is a “Learning-by-doing” program, where participating new and experienced investors exercise and learn the ropes of Angel investing.

The “Demo Day” of the fifth Trans Atlantic Angel Conference Training program, where our Investor Cohort will select the final investment.

Across 3 months, 25 Angel Investors together reviewed 60+ companies who shared company financials, business strategies, customer references, and operating plans. We held individual and group investor discussions, where we evaluated, selected, debated about, and did meaningful due diligence.

This Demo / Pitch Event is the end of the program. It is an exclusive virtual reception during which participating companies have the opportunity to pitch to an audience of entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, and community members.

The 5 finalist companies will present and 1 winner will be announced. The Due Diligence teams will outline what they explored in the process of due diligence. And then the Angel investors will select a company to make an investment in. The audience is invited to also vote for an Audience Award.

Many Angel Groups will be invited to attend. There will be time to network and engage with other attendees. This is an online event.

In an era where data and AI are revolutionising industries worldwide, the structured finance sector should be no exception. 

The structured finance community has convened in Barcelona for almost 3 decades to network with industry peers and engage in high-stakes deals. However, amidst the hustle and bustle, one crucial group is still to be welcomed: technology and data professionals.

The Structured Finance Hackathon is designed to bridge the gap between the financial and technology worlds, providing a unique space where developers, data scientists, and AI specialists can interact with quants, portfolio managers, and risk analysts.

The event’s competitive flavour also encourages innovators to solve real-world challenges in an environment with fewer constraints.

Teams will start collaborating online from May 16th until demo day on June 5th, where they will showcase their ideas to the jury either online or on-site.

• Climate Risk ➡️ How can we use a variety of data sources to empower portfolio managers with compliant ESG and Climate Risk Scenario Analytics?
• RegTech ➡️ How can we make Regulatory Obligations easier to understand and efficiently monitor changes to existing requirements?
